Target with Friends...

Today, we didn't do anything too exciting...but we did meet some friends at one of our favorite places to shop...Target. We took along a packed lunch since we are cheap :) and ate at the food area.



We must have walked/looked around the entire store...we didn't end up buying very much just looking around...we got a few barrettes for Adrianna's hair (I am not ready to cut her hair yet..but need to get it out of her eyes some), and some Valentine's things for my MOPS group. Adrianna took her nap and we just hung out at the house the rest of the day. Nothing too exciting today :).

We do like Wednesday's though because Daddy/Josh works from home and we actually get to eat dinner together and enjoy a little extra time with him...a little break from his really long days :).

A Day at the House

Yesterday, I thought that it was going to snow...so we didn't have any real plans for the day....but once we got up and got moving and realized that it wasn't going to snow...I thought about going out. Unfortunately, Adrianna ended up having diarrhea all day...not fun at all...so I didn't want to deal with that somewhere else so we ended up just staying home all day...kind of boring. We did work on her potty training though...but it isn't going too well yet...she will sit on the potty for a long time but not go in the potty until the diaper is back on and then she seems to go....so we will keep trying...I am hoping to have her potty trained before the new baby comes but we will see :)

Adrianna spent the day putting puzzles together...she is really starting to enjoy them now, coloring, playing in her kitchen, reading books, watching Veggie Tales and KidSongs and then started to get so bored with being home all day that she even attempted to ride on her horse backwards.

Uncle Ben's Birthday Dinner

Monday was Josh's brother's birthday (Adrianna's Uncle) and we originally didn't realize that we would be getting together with them for dinner but we did....and guess where we got to go again...Nikko's Japanese Steak House....of course it was delicous and we had a great time hanging out with the family. I don't think we will be going there for a while though. Adrianna certainly enjoyed herself again. (sorry about the pics...didn't take many or really any great ones :))

Storytime!!

On Monday's, we go to storytime at the Library and Adrianna really enjoys it. She loves listening to the stories being read, dancing to songs and shaking the shakers. Books are one of her favorite things at home so of course storytime is a favorite time for her. It is a fun time to get out of house for and it is free too :). We haven't checked any books out yet...since she pretty much already has a full library at home....and sometimes isn't very nice to those books :).

Superbowl Party time!!!

Well, every year we typically host a Superbowl party at our house. This year we had mostly people from our church's young married couples group over and another couple that we are friends with. We had a great time hanging out, eating yummy food and watching the game once in a while :)....it was quite hard to hear at times with the kids having so much fun playing.

Of course, since Josh is a huge Redskins fan....he had Adrianna decked out in her little Redskins Cheerleader outfit.....I know they weren't in the Superbowl or even close to being in the Superbowl....but he still remains a hopeful/dedicated fan :).

A Little bit of Everything Saturday!!

On Saturday, I drove up to Gettysburg to meet my cousin and the other Bridesmaids that are in her wedding to try on our dresses. I was very curious as to how this was going to go...considering I am now 20 weeks pregnant and will be about 27 weeks pregnant for her wedding...I ordered the dress before I was pregnant. Well, luckily the dress fit when I tried it on...but snuggly....they aren't going to do any alterations other then taking it out some until 3 weeks before the wedding. So hopefully, by that point it will be able to fit well. The dresses are really cute and are great dresses to wear for many occassions and use over many times which is great. Looking forward to celebrating her big day with her.

Then we got to have a very nice dinner at Nikko's Japanese Steakhouse....yummy!!! Now, with me staying at home with Adrianna (which I wouldn't have it any other day and am so thankful for all the hard work that Josh does for our family), we don't go out to eat too often so this was a nice treat. I enjoyed the time that we got to spend together as a family and Adrianna really enjoyed her dinner and entertainment.

Mom's Night Out!!

On Friday night, I got a chance to join some other Mom's from my MOPS group at one of the mom's houses for a fun night of games and laughs. I am blessed to have a husband who enjoys having his "daddy" time with Adrianna so that I can get out to enjoy some alone time with other moms. We hung out chatting and playing Cranium the Turbo addition....tons of fun. We got some funny pics as well. Looking forward to our next Mom's night out in February.
