The kids enjoyed a fun sand art craft together...on the deck of course...too messy for the house...they seemed to have a great time "creating" with the sand...or maybe just mixing it...or pouring it on the table...
The party didn't start until 4pm and the whole purpose of this was so Adrianna could get a nap in before celebrating...well she was too excited about seeing the balloons and cakes that she never took a nap and then ended up falling asleep while eating dinner at her party. It all worked out though...she did great with having a little "cat nap" and then was happy to have her cake and open gifts.
The party had a teddy bear theme...since Adrianna loves bears and my cousin did an awesome job making Adrianna her own little stand up Teddy Bear cake which she loved and then making a bigger Teddy Bear cake for everyone else....the cakes were so cute and yummy...Thanks Kimmi!!
After cake, Adrianna enjoyed opening all of her gifts and of course got so much that we will have to "jack up" the house to fit them all in :). I don't know where we will have room for her little sisters stuff in just about a month now :). Thanks to everyone for making my day special and all of the great gifts!!
Just for fun, I posted below a pic of Adrianna and her cake last year and then her eating her cake this year...what a difference a year makes..can't believe that she is two already...growing up too fast. Happy Birthday Adrianna...love you lots!!
